At the second day we had a good mix with hands on work and discussions. I think the particioants are very interested in what we present, and that makes me more enthousiastic in my teaching. looking forward to do photostories with them at thursday.

Arriving Israel and Palestine -right on time!

23 09 2011

A few hours ago i landed in Tel Aviv. A taxi driver picked me up and took me to the hotel we are staying at in Ramallah.  He told about many closed roads because President Abbas should speak  in the UN later this evening about membership to Palestine, and demonstrations were expected. A few hours later this was all over the world news, and im now hearing the crowd of people celebrating through my hotel window.

Two days of digital productions

8 07 2010
Now, in the second week of the LATINA summerschool 2010, the participants are making different digital productions. For some this is not new, but for most of the students they’re making things like this for the first time. The contents of the productions are different, and maybe not very important when it comes to teaching and learning. But they have been introdused to some tools which can be convenient in doing e-learning later on. Playing with still images, sound and video create skills which are important when it comes to making of digital presentations, and nearly all of the students have now integrated their productions to their blogs.
In some productions I am surprised over the selectiveness about pictures, both when it comes to still images and video.
Several students complained that the video production only lasted for one day -something I  think sertifies that they enjoyed, but maybe found the schedule a little too tight.
Sessions like the last two days “looses up” the athmosphere among both students and teachers, and in a course like this i think that can be very useful for the learning prosesses.
